Oroville and Orland are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Tigers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Oroville has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 24.

It was a proper cat-fight when Oroville faced off against Corning on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 12-1 to the Cardinals. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Jenessa Igot was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Orland was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against Live Oak, falling 13-2.

Gracie Cutshall made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Orland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. As for Oroville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.
