Basketball Recap: Adriana Marzullo Key Part of Team Effort in Cougars Win

Quince Orchard won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Quince Orchard Cougars strolled past the Kennedy Cavaliers with points to spare, taking the game 48-30. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Quince Orchard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adriana Marzullo led the charge by dropping a double-double with ten points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Marzullo a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bridget Vandegrift, who went 6-for-10 on her way to 15 points and seven rebounds.

Quince Orchard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

The win got Quince Orchard back to even at 11-11. As for Kennedy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-14.

As of now, neither Quince Orchard nor Kennedy have any future games scheduled.
