Baseball Game Preview: Bethesda Christian Lions vs. Holy Cross Crusaders

The Bethesda Christian Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Holy Cross Crusaders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bethesda Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Bethesda Christian got the win against Christian Life Preparatory by a conclusive 8-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Bethesda Christian got a massive performance out of Samuel Helm, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave Helm a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Corbin Gonzales, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Holy Cross kicked off their season on the road back in March and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 20-2 to O'Donnell.

Bethesda Christian now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Holy Cross, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
