Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

If Cleveland was riding high fresh off their 75-48 takedown of Tigard last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cleveland Warriors fell just short of the Mountainside Mavericks by a score of 62-60 on Friday. The Warriors were not able to make up for their loss to the Mavericks from their previous meeting back in March of 2022.

Cleveland now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mountainside, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Cleveland and Westview will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountainside will take on West Linn in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
