Baseball Recap: Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 7-2 to the St. John's Jesuit Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-3 on Monday.

Central Catholic saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Zelmanski, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Central Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 7-16. As for St. John's Jesuit, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Catholic will square off against Bryan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. John's Jesuit, they will be playing at home against Defiance at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
