Basketball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ozark Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Vikings came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Tigers are ranked 160th).

Parkview now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Ozark, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Parkview will face off against West Plains at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West Plains knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Parkview likes a good challenge. As for Ozark, they will look to defend their home court on January 28th against Carthage at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Ozark's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
