Northeast scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 74-52 to the Central Chargers. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured eight defeats in a row.

Northeast's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Tavarus Tinsley Jr, who went 9 of 19 on his way to 25 points, and Justyn Taylor, who went 5 for 9 en route to 17 points. The dominant performance gave Taylor a new career-high in points. Emmanuel Thorpe was another key player, putting up seven points.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Southwest the next time they take the court. Central will head out to face Southwest at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Northeast will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
