There's no place like home for Pittsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Antioch Panthers on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won eight in a row.

Pittsburg never let Antioch on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-16.

Rodrigo Becerra paced Pittsburg's offense, picking up nine kills. Becerra got some help from Sebastian Salazar and his 14 assists. Becerra was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Pittsburg's win bumped their record up to 12-19. As for Antioch, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

As of now, neither Pittsburg nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
