Recap: Redford Union Panthers vs. Jackson Vikings
The Redford Union Panthers pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Jackson. Redford Union has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jackson's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Koronnis Davis, who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Jackson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sherquan Wilson, who scored 13 points.
Redford Union's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jackson, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Redford Union will take on Westfield Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Jackson, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th.
