Franklin's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to King Soloman Hamilton

Thanks in part to King Soloman Hamilton, Franklin said goodbye to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season. On Thursday Soloman Hamilton threw for 222 yards and four touchdowns on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Franklin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Soloman Hamilton and Franklin will take on Roosevelt on Friday.

Cleveland was sadly handed a defeat on Thursday, but Sam Ribner did his best to prevent it. Ribner was dynamite, rushing for 90 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also throwing for 190 yards and two touchdowns.

Cleveland is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. Ribner will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Jefferson on Friday.

Cash Landau Delivers Best Performance of Season

Cash Landau produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Franklin to the win on Thursday. Landau picked up 108 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Unfortunately for Cleveland, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Landau. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Landau saw the Warriors), he picked up 206 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

Sayre Made His Presence Known in Franklin's 47-28 Victory

Franklin's seven-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jay Sayre. Cleveland had no answer to Sayre on Thursday as he rushed for 119 yards on only 15 carries.

This season, Sayre has averaged 92.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 30.83 rushing yards per game.

Hank Blaha Makes It Two for Cleveland
