East Wake Academy's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Franklin Academy with a sharp 11-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Thales Academy Rolesville came into Wednesday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out Thales Academy Apex 8-6.
