Basketball Recap: Lake West Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Camdenton Christian

Lake West Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 34-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Camdenton Christian on Thursday.

Camdenton Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Landon Hill, who posted 16 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Mills, who earned eight points in addition to 12 boards and eight steals.

The victory got Camdenton Christian back to even at 1-1.

Lake West Christian Academy and Camdenton Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time Lake West Christian Academy sees the court they'll take on Heritage Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 5. As for Camdenton Christian, their break will end when they face Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
