Harrison County won the last time they faced Breathitt County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thorobreds/Fillies walked away with a 10-6 win over the Bobcats. With that victory, the Thorobreds/Fillies brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

The team relied heavily on Brian Vaughn, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jashon Lewis, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

The win made it two in a row for Harrison County and bumps their season record up to 14-2-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Breathitt County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.
