Evergreen and Elmwood squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Evergreen had to settle for second. They lost 8-1 to the Royals. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Elmwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Evergreen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elmwood, they will take on Lake Center Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
