Softball Recap: Glencoe Victorious

Glencoe proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Cleveland Panthers 5-3.

Glencoe has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-15 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Cleveland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.

Glencoe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Cedar Bluff on the 28th. Cleveland has also already played their next matchup (against Kate Duncan Smith DAR), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
