Volleyball Game Preview: Castaic Coyotes vs. Hart Hawks

Castaic is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Hart an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Castaic Coyotes will be playing at home against the Hart Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Castaic will be strutting in after a win while Hart will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Monday, Castaic earned a 3-1 victory over Trinity Classical Academy. The win continues a trend for the Coyotes in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won three in a row.

Castaic walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 18-25, 25-15, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Hart came up short against Saugus on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

Hart took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-17, 25-22.

Castaic now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Hart, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Castaic skirted past Hart 3-2 in their previous matchup back in March. Will the Coyotes repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
