Softball Recap: Blanchester Takes a Loss

Blanchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-3 to the Bethel-Tate Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 12-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Blanchester saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bailie Bare, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Jocelyn Lansing was another, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Blanchester's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Bethel-Tate, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Blanchester will be playing at home against Clermont Northeastern at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bethel-Tate, they will host Batavia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
