Recap: Prince RVT Falcons vs. Windham RVT Mighty Tigers
The Prince RVT Falcons pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They had to suffer through a rough 99-57 loss at the hands of Windham RVT. Prince RVT lost against Windham RVT in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-61 score last time.
It was another big night for Dezmen Gaston, who scored 36 points along with five assists and three steals for Windham RVT. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gaston has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Dunnack, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and seven assists.
Prince RVT has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Windham RVT, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
Prince RVT will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitney RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Connecticut (Prince RVT is ranked 158th, while Whitney RVT is ranked 142nd). As for Windham RVT, they will head out on the road to challenge Windsor Locks at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Windham RVT knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Windsor Locks likes a good challenge.
