Midland Christian had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 48-29 win over the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Lions are ranked 549th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Midland Christian pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Grapevine Faith Christian, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Coincidentally, Midland Christian and Grapevine Faith Christian will both be playing All S the next time they take the court. Grapevine Faith Christian will head out to face All S at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Midland Christian will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
