Lackawanna Trail entered their tilt with Carbondale Area on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They snuck past the Carbondale Area Chargers with a 43-39 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-35 back in December of 2024.

Lackawanna Trail is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Carbondale Area, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-15.

Lackawanna Trail does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carbondale Area, they will host Elk Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Elk Lake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Carbondale Area likes a good challenge.
