Baseball Recap: York Cougars vs. Richland Northeast Cavaliers
While York put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Richland Northeast. York blew past Richland Northeast 11-0. The Cougars not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th.
Larson Montgomery made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because York is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 2-4 otherwise. Montgomery was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.
