Basketball Recap: Waldport Takes a Loss

Waldport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Camas Valley Hornets.

Waldport's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Camas Valley, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Waldport will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Santiam at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Camas Valley, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Reedsport at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
