Basketball Recap: Farrell Comes Up Short

Farrell and Cathedral Prep squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Farrell had to settle for second. They had to suffer through an 83-47 loss at the hands of the Cathedral Prep Ramblers. While losing is never fun, the Steelers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while the Ramblers are ranked 29th).

Farrell now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Cathedral Prep, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-8.

Farrell does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cathedral Prep, they will take on Grove City at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cathedral Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Grove City likes a good challenge.
