Basketball Recap: Durand Bulldogs vs. Dakota Indians
Durand was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Dakota Indians 45-13. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 590th, while the Indians are ranked 291st).
Caitlind Maines was Durand's leading scorer, having posted six points. Aurora Hilton held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Leading Dakota to victory were Makenna Stuckey and Hailey Kerchner. Stuckey posted ten points and four steals, while Kerchner put up 17 points and seven rebounds.
