Soccer Recap: Long Comes Up Short

Long lost against Carroll back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Long lost 9-2 to Carroll. Long were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 8-0.

Long has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-3 record this season. The victory was the fourth in a row for Carroll, bringing their record up to 12-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Long will challenge New Brockton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carroll, they will take on Eufaula at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
