Basketball Recap: Hereford Skates Past Woodlawn with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hereford). They blew past the Woodlawn Warriors, posting a 69-21 victory. Given the Bulls' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Warriors are ranked 256th), the result on Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Hereford's third in a row) raised their record to 8-3. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.0 points per game. As for Woodlawn, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hereford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-31 victory against Franklin on the 24th. Woodlawn has also already played their next match, a 32-29 win against Kenwood on the 24th.
