Basketball Recap: Pilot Grove Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Pilot Grove duked it out withNortheast on Friday. The Pilot Grove Tigers took a 73-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Bearcats. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Pilot Grove's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Northeast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Pilot Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-33 victory against Santa Fe on the 20th. As for Northeast, they will venture away from home to face off against Centralia at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
