Volleyball Recap: Santa Ana Valley Comes Up Short

Santa Ana Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Orange Panthers. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Santa Ana Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orange, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Santa Ana Valley will welcome Santiago at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Orange, they will head out on the road to face off against Rancho Alamitos at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vaqueros will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
