Baseball Recap: Oneida Finds Home Field Redemption Against Harriman

There's no place like home for Oneida, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They came out on top against the Harriman Blue Devils by a score of 5-2 on Thursday. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 6-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Aiden Frazier, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Calvin Smith was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Oneida's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Harriman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Blue Devils beat Oneida by a score of 8-4 on Friday.
