Softball Recap: Butler Has No Trouble Against Parsippany

Butler lost to Parsippany back in May of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Redhawks with a sharp 8-2 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Butler is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Parsippany, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Butler will host Whippany Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Parsippany, they will square off against Academy of St. Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
