Football Recap: Vista del Lago Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Vista del Lago's offense. They took a blow against the Hillcrest Trojans on Monday, falling 36-0. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Ravens' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Vista del Lago's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Hillcrest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Vista del Lago is set to square off against their familiar foe Canyon Springs at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Ravens their first taste of in-conference action this season. Meanwhile, Hillcrest will face off against rival Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
