Football Preview: Secaucus Patriots vs. Harrison Blue Tide
For the second straight game, Secaucus will face off against Harrison. The Patriots will head out to face off against the Blue Tide at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
Secaucus came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 31-7 to Harrison. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Blue Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Harrison found their leader in sophomore Kasandra Rodriguez, who rushed for 114 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Rodriguez also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up three sacks and making five total tackles (4.0 for loss). Hailey Scocco was in the mix too, providing Harrison with two TDs.
Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 239 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in May of 2024.
