Basketball Recap: Corunna Comes Up Short

Corunna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-53 heartbreaker at the hands of the Holly Bronchos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bronchos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 39-26 back in December of 2024.

Corunna's defeat dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Holly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-15.

Coming up, Corunna will face off against Owosso at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Holly, they will take on Swartz Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
