Volleyball Recap: Legacy Athletics Comes Up Short

Legacy Athletics entered their matchup against Cornerstone Christian Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Stallions lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-15.

Atti Dyer paced Legacy Athletics' offense, picking up three kills. Dyer got some help from Maci Siceloff and her five assists. Dyer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Legacy Athletics' loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Legacy Athletics didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Heritage Christian on the 25th. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Hayworth Christian on the 26th.
