After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brookside, Garrett Morgan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the John Marshall Lawyers get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Garrett Morgan pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for John Marshall, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Looking ahead, Garrett Morgan will head out on the road to challenge Columbia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. John Marshall does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
