Football Recap: Vianney Takes a Loss

Vianney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 56-42 bruising from the De Smet Jesuit Spartans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (34), the Golden Griffins still had to take the loss.

Vianney now has a losing record of 2-3. As for De Smet Jesuit, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Vianney is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Louis University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, De Smet Jesuit will square off against rival Chaminade at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
