After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Guerin Catholic, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Warren Central Warriors a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won four contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Zach McCormack looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eli Hulzebos, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Brady Keating was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Indianapolis Bishop Chatard's record now sits at 4-6. As for Warren Central, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard will face off against Roncalli at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Royals will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warren Central, they will challenge Pike at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
