Cardinal Newman won the last time they faced Northside Christian Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Leila Hargrove paced Cardinal Newman's offense, picking up eight kills. Hargrove got some help from Lauren Rivers and her 20 assists. Rivers was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.
