Baseball Game Preview: Chavez Titans vs. West Wolfpack

The Chavez Titans will head out to take on the West Wolfpack at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Chavez is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Chavez didn't have quite enough to beat Lathrop and fell 5-4.

Jordan Cordova made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two).

Meanwhile, West didn't have quite enough to beat Weston Ranch on Wednesday and fell 8-7.

Chavez's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for West, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2-1.

Chavez might still be hurting after the 12-0 defeat they got from West in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can Chavez avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
