The Somers Spartans won against the Wamogo Regional Warriors on Saturday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. Somers put the hurt on Wamogo Regional with a sharp 58-37 win. The win was familiar territory for Somers who now have three in a row.

Wamogo Regional's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Patrick Weaving, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, and Quinn Coffey who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds. Weaving is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

Somers pushed their record up to 8-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.7 points per game. As for Wamogo Regional, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Somers will take on Rockville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Wamogo Regional, they will head out on the road to square off against Housatonic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
