Baseball Recap: Allen County-Scottsville Patriots vs. Warren East Raiders

Allen County-Scottsville extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-18-1 in the process. They lost 9-0 to the Warren East Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-3 on Monday.

As for Warren East, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-14. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games.

For Warren East's part, Brenden Bratcher made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Bratcher has posted since back in April. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.

In other batting news, Kavien Hinton was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Briggs Young also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
