Softball Recap: Logan County Takes a Loss

Logan County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the South Warren Spartans, falling 17-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Logan County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for South Warren, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Logan County Cougars duke it out with Russellville Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Warren, they will square off against Franklin-Simpson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
