Softball Recap: Tri-Village Patriots vs. Garaway Pirates
It's playoff time, and Tri-Village had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Garaway Pirates 6-0 on Sunday. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.
Not much got past Elizabeth Poling, who gave up just three hits to keep Garaway off the board. Poling has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Emma Greer was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Tai Mize was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
