Basketball Game Preview: Wasatch Wasps vs. Springville Red Devils

The Wasatch Wasps will venture away from home to challenge the Springville Red Devils at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Wasatch will head out to face Springville after giving up their first home loss of the season on Tuesday. Wasatch took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Salem Hills.

Meanwhile, Springville also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Timpview by a score of 58-50.

Springville's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Wasatch, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-3.

Wasatch strolled past Springville when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 42-28. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wasatch since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
