Volleyball Recap: Tough Loss for Bedford

After flying high against Warrensville Heights two weeks ago, Bedford came back down to earth. The Bearcats lost 3-0 to the Gilmour Academy Lancers on Tuesday.

The final set scores came out to 25-14, 25-8, 25-10.

Gilmour Academy was led to victory by Aiden Pike and Giuliana Rutter. Pike had seven digs, six aces, and five kills, while Rutter had 16 assists and five aces. Kaya Wilson was another key player, getting seven digs and four aces.

Bedford has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. Gilmour Academy (14-10) has now won four in a row.

As of now, neither Bedford nor Gilmour Academy have any future games scheduled.
