Volleyball Game Preview: Arcadia Apaches vs. Burroughs Bears

Arcadia has won three straight games at home, while Burroughs has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Apaches will host the Bears at 3:45 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arcadia is headed into the matchup having just posted their closest win since March 28th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Crescenta Valley 3-2.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Arcadia got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 19-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Burroughs got the win against Burbank on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 29-6. As for Arcadia, their win bumped their record up to 26-3.
