Baseball Game Preview: Barnstable Red Hawks vs. Nauset Regional Warriors

The Barnstable Red Hawks will challenge the Nauset Regional Warriors at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Barnstable and eight for Nauset Regional.

Barnstable came up short against Duxbury on Wednesday, falling 9-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Nauset Regional's offense. They lost 16-0 to Bishop Stang on Friday.

Nauset Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Barnstable, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

Barnstable beat Nauset Regional 6-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
