Softball Game Preview: Flanagan Falcons vs. South Broward Bulldogs

After both having extra time off, the Flanagan Falcons and the South Broward Bulldogs will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flanagan has given up an average of 11.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Flanagan managed to slip by Goleman the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Flanagan lost 13-7 to Goleman last Thursday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexis Meza made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, South Broward came up short against Monarch last Wednesday and fell 4-1.

South Broward saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mayah Torres 2026, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI was Torres 2026's first of the season.

Flanagan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for South Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Flanagan suffered a grim 19-4 defeat to South Broward in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Flanagan avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
