Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Valley Big Reds vs. Warren Woods-Tower Titans

The Chippewa Valley Big Reds and the Warren Woods-Tower Titans will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Chippewa Valley comes in on eight and Warren Woods-Tower on four.

Last Saturday, Chippewa Valley didn't have too much trouble with Brighton as they won 43-27. The 43-point effort marked the Big Reds' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Warren Woods-Tower). They skirted past Lamphere 61-58.

Warren Woods-Tower's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Chippewa Valley, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Chippewa Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Warren Woods-Tower in their previous meeting back in February of 2019, winning 63-55. Will Chippewa Valley repeat their success, or does Warren Woods-Tower have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
