Baseball Recap: Olympic Triumphs

Olympic's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the North Mason Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Chase Beninger's shutout, as he gave up just five hits and racked up 14 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Olympic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Burdick, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

The victory got Olympic back to even at 10-10. As for North Mason, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.

Olympic will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bulldogs: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
